Southeast Asian Quantum Coordinator Meeting

The Southeast Asian Quantum Coordinator Meeting brings together leading researchers, institutional representatives, and program coordinators from across the region to align efforts on building a coherent quantum science and technology ecosystem in Southeast Asia.

As quantum technologies move rapidly from laboratory research toward real-world applications, Southeast Asian nations face both a shared opportunity and a shared challenge: how to coordinate talent development, research infrastructure, industrial partnerships, and policy frameworks so that the region can participate meaningfully in — and benefit from — the global quantum revolution.

This closed-door working meeting provides a dedicated space for coordinators to:

• Share national updates on quantum research programs, funding initiatives, and strategic roadmaps
• Identify opportunities for regional collaboration in education, workforce development, and joint research projects
• Discuss mechanisms for resource sharing, mobility of researchers, and access to quantum infrastructure across borders
• Lay the groundwork for sustained coordination among Southeast Asian quantum communities
